Imagery is an integral part of our landlords' success.
The photos that the customers see will greatly define whether they book your listing or not. They are your way
of best showcasing how great your place is, and entice them to want to stay there so make the most of it.
Make sure your apartment is clean.
Make each room appealing.
Do your bed, pick up your clothes and gather them in one place. A clean room with a made bed and organised shelves will make a big difference!
Shoot during the day, open your curtains and take
advantage of natural light and colours.
Always aim for an evenly lit room with soft or no
shadows. Use flashes if necessary, but avoid
excessive light and distortion.
Always try to shoot at about chest height (1.5m) to
make sure you cover all surfaces.
Also, go for landscapes and avoid vertical photos or
pictures with too much ceiling. We want to see the
most interesting parts of the house with a true
perspective.
Take advantage of the corners - it helps showing the
ange of space and adds dimensionality to the picture.
Make sure lines are straight and consistent with the
lines of the space. Avoid strong distortion caused
by extreme wide angle lenses.
Keep pictures as impersonal as possible.
Avoid people and personal objects that won’t be
listed on your property perks.
Please note that Uniplaces is not allowed to publish
photos where pets, people or any other personal
object is shown.
